    Who could it be? Would she leave whit him? Would she have choice? She had fear this time. Something she learned not to feel. Mrs. Clair, an Alice neighbor that was already old used to take care of her since she was born. Seeing that letter she could have idea of who was that man. Leonard, Alice’s father was relative of a mayor that New Castle had years ago. Klaus O’Connor. Due to a family fight, they did never reveal to Alice. But now, he was no longer in the city, already for 15 years. After thinking a lot on this matter, Clair decided to tell Alice about that.

      - A mayor? I have a relative, he was the mayor of where I live and nobody ever told me? Why would that be?

      - I don’t know much but they had a fight about the propriety of the family and, I never get to know about these things.

      - You can tell me everything. Mrs. Clair

      - Well, as you are a girl, and you could not carry the family’s name, he didn’t want you to heritance nothing and that’s why you don’t have his last name. Your mother never wanted to get in that fight so she chose never talk about that.

     After three months without her mother, Alice wasn’t less sad, but now she could hid it quite well. She worked hard on the fields. And every need she had, Clair and the other friends would certainly help her.

New Castle

      A long time ago lived a young girl named Alice Lewis on the city of New Castle. She was very silent, but more because she never had anyone who talk to. Her mother, Vivian Lewis, was a very poor woman that, when was a child, dreamed about to know the whole world. She really did, but only in her head. She did never go to school. And yet very young she got married. Different of most of people at that time, she had just one daughter. Not even a boy, what was not very cool for men, the family of Leonard, Alice’s father did never approved their relationship. Soon in her life, he left without even saying why. That’s what Vivian told Alice, and she did never doubt of that. She wanted that Alice could see all her dreams come true. And although the world is not a very happy place sometimes, that worried mother wish that her daughter could ever create a world better in her head just like she used to do.

      When Leonard left the family, her mother was always working. Alice didn’t know any relatives, in order that when occurred that her mother was close to die; she prepared herself to face the life on her own. She was only 18 years old. At that time Alice had such an unexpected surprise when received a letter from a certain Mr. Julian O’Connor, which did not tell much; just that he was coming to get her to live in his house. On the big and prosper London.

    Comecei a escrever uma história que fosse como ao filme que eu queria assistir mas nunca encontrei algo assim. Depois de procurar e não encontrar resolvi escrever a própria história. É divertido como as palavras fluem e criamos novos pesonagens e rumos para eles. Gostariam e tentar? O objetivo deste blog é para que alguém, se desejar, acabe a história e publique. Pode ser feito por várias pessoas, seria mais legal.
